The Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate for 2023, Peter Obi, has declared that he does not think the recent bombing in Kaduna was divinely ordered.
Speaking on a Sunday Twitter space, Peter Obi urged governments and well-meaning Nigerians to assist in laying the groundwork for the compensation of the families impacted by the incident and similar incidents in the past.
Remember that the Nigerian Army was responsible for last week’s bombing incident, which resulted in no fewer than 87 deaths and 76 injuries.
In response, Obi urged the security services to collaborate with trustworthy human intelligence reports gathered locally prior to any offensive operation in order to prevent future innocent deaths.
“The bombing that occurred in Kaduna and claimed the lives of approximately 120 people was never an act of God,” he declared.
