Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, congratulated Ijeoma Uchegbu, a Nigerian-born professor, on her appointment as the president of Wolfson College at the University of Cambridge on Monday.
Obi expressed his excitement over the announcement of Ijeoma Uchegbu, a Nigerian professor of pharmaceutical nanoscience who is recognized for her outstanding contributions to nanoparticle drug delivery, becoming the seventh president of Wolfson College, one of the 31 colleges affiliated with the University of Cambridge, in a series of tweets on his X handle on Monday.
As she continues to lead the way in pharmaceutical nanoscience, Prof. Uchegbu—who is currently a lecturer at University College London—is renowned worldwide for her high caliber and groundbreaking work in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
