On November 30, 2023, Orijin, Nigeria’s top-selling alcoholic blend of African fruits and herbs, debuted its much-anticipated Limited Edition Pack at the Guinness Nigeria headquarters. The occasion was a celebration of tenacity and cultural artistry, attended by notable lifestyle influencers, prominent members of the press, and Adebayo Alli, the newly appointed Managing Director of Guinness Nigeria, as well as Bright Okpocha, aka Basket Mouth, the Orijin brand ambassador.
The launch event featured a wide range of entertaining activities that represented the tenacity ingrained in the brand’s overarching “Deeply Rooted” campaign. The spectacular unveiling of the packs, accentuated by lights, music, and photographers, was witnessed by the attendees. The limited edition packs’ mask designs were enlarged in the Mask Art frames, giving attendees a closer look at the inspiration behind each mask and a greater appreciation for the artistry that went into creating Flenjor, Jolly, and Chillax. The spirit of the limited edition packs was echoed in this celebration, which encouraged guests to draw strength from their heritage to overcome the obstacles of daily life.
“We’re committed to telling the vibrant story of Guinness Nigeria and our brands,” said Mark Mugisha, Director of Marketing and Innovations at Guinness Nigeria. Nothing, however, comes close to the 200 million distinct tales of Nigerians who exhibit extraordinary tenacity. With great pride, I am contributing to the celebration of the remarkable Nigerian spirit and enhancing Orijin’s Orijinality—a brand that is deeply ingrained in our culture. I implore each and every one of you to stay true to your roots, Orijinal, and extraordinary. Let’s toast to all Orijinals; one year has passed.
Renowned comedian and compere Forever (Akuidolo Orevaoghene) hosted the event, which was attended by media representatives, influencers like Efe Money, Neo Akpofure, and Jenni Frank. A variety of cultural treats were on display, such as the mesmerizing performances of the Atilogu dance groups and a thought-provoking mini-art talk by Dadee Daniel, the creative force behind the new label design. Additionally, Basketmouth, the brand ambassador, made a toast honoring the tenacity and enduring roots of every Oriinal. The DJ’s selection of upbeat music elevated the festive mood and added to the event’s exuberant atmosphere.
Orijinals everywhere are invited to experience and celebrate resilience in every sip with the Limited Edition Pack, which is currently available for purchase in bars, stores, and all top sales outlets nationwide.
