Zacchaeus Adangor, the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Rivers State, has submitted his resignation.
The information was shared in a letter to Siminalayi Fubara, the state governor.
Adangor claimed in the letter that his departure was “based purely on personal reasons.”
The resignation might not be unrelated to the political unrest roiling the state.
