Strong evidence suggests that infamous terrorist leader Ali Kawaje, also known as Ali Kachalla, was killed on Monday by airstrikes carried out by the Nigerian Air Force near Mangoro in Munya LGA of Niger State, following the confirmation by the air force on Sunday of the elimination of deadly terrorist kingpin Yellow Jambros.
According to sources, Ali Kachalla and his infantry attacked a group of security personnel stationed at Mangoro Community in Munya LGA, Niger State. As a result, the air component of Operation Whirl Punch was notified, and NAF aircraft were quickly dispatched to assist the troops who were in danger.
On eleven motorcycles, Kachalla and his foot soldiers were seen pulling out from the operatives’ position above the scene.
They didn’t realize, though, that they were being followed to their hiding place close to Kopa Hills, where they sought refuge beneath a dense canopy of trees.
“The airstrikes were authorized at this point, and they were swift and decisive, ensuring maximum and effective damage to the terrorists.”
Numerous terrorists, including terrorist Kingpin Ali Kachalla, were killed as a result of the strike, according to sources close to the scene and locals living nearby.
According to sources, “Kachalla’s death has already caused great joy in Mangoro and the surrounding areas, with many locals praying for the same outcome for Dogo Gidei, whose notorious activities have continued to inflict unimaginable injuries on their well-being and livelihoods.”
NAF spokesperson Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet said he was still awaiting a brief regarding the airstrike when he was contacted about the development.
The attack takes place just a day after the NAF declared that Yellow Jambros, another lethal terrorist leader, has been eliminated.
If this momentum keeps going, it might put an end to the terrorists’ and the foot soldiers’ rule sooner rather than later.
Remember how on June 18, 2023, footsoldiers under the command of terror kingpin Ali Kachalla brought down a NAF jet with heavy artillery?
Approximately 15 km west of Dansadau town, the fighter jet was shot down close to Kabaru village.
