Mallam Salihu Abubakar has been named Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency by Governor Uba Sani.
In a statement, Muhammad Lawal Shehu, the governor of Kaduna State’s chief press secretary, stated that the appointment’s goal is to guarantee the success of the Hajj operations in 2024. He also mentioned that the agency’s administrative secretary will be the secretary of the Special Committee on 2024 Hajj.
The remaining committee members will carry out the duties of the agency’s board members, according to the statement.
According to the announcement, Dr. Yusuf Yakubu Arrigasiyyu, the Executive Secretary of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, has been transferred to the Kaduna State Environmental Protection Authority (KEPA) in the capacity of Managing Director.
