Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president of Nigeria, was appointed by God, according to Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin.
Insisting that Nigerians live in harmony despite their differences, Ewuare II asserted thus.
This statement was made during his courtesy call at Lagos House, Marina, to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
“The appointment of Tinubu as President of Nigeria is a divine decree.” We are all together. Peace and quiet are what I favor.
“Our shared existence is imperative. Nigeria is a large country. Our family needs to come together and put aside our differences,” he remarked.
After the visit, the governor of Lagos tweeted that the Oba of Benin had visited and that he was honored.
“Reaffirms our commitment to cultural harmony and collaboration,” he said of the monarch’s visit.
In his second four years in office, the Oba pushed Sanwo-Olu to take on additional responsibility.
