On Monday, President Bola Tinubu swore in eight newly appointed Permanent Secretaries.
This came about as a result of their selection for the Federal Civil Service.
The Federal Executive Council, or FEC, met weekly in the Council Chambers of the State House in Abuja on Monday. The swearing-in ceremony came before the meeting started.
Ndakayo-Aishetu Gogo, Bako Deborah Odoh, Omachi Raymond Omenka, Ahmed Dunoma Umar, Watti Tinuke, Adeoye Adeleye Ayodeji, Rimi Nura Abba, and Ella Nicholas Agbo are the new Permanent Secretaries.
Vice President Kashim Shettima is also present at this week’s FEC meeting, which Tinubu is chairing at the time this report is filed.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume; the President’s Chief of Staff, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila; the Head of the Federation’s Civil Service, Folashade Yemi-Esan; and Ministers are present at the ongoing meeting.
