Head coach Edith Agoye of the Sunshine Stars has urged his team to keep getting better in order to win their next league games.
On Sunday at the Akure Township Stadium, the Owena Waves defeated Sporting Lagos 1-0.
The game’s lone goal was scored in the first half by Moses Omodumueke.
Agoye expressed his happiness at winning over Sporting Lagos’ tenacious squad.
“We are happy that we defeated Sporting Lagos and earned maximum points,” he stated to the club’s press.
“We won’t give up; more work is required in the next games.”
