Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani declares that his administration is dedicated to making amends and promoting sincere reconciliation with the people of Southern Kaduna.
In a speech delivered on Thursday at the Throneroom Trust Ministry in Kafanchan to the Southern Kaduna Christian Leaders Association Pastor’s Congress, Governor Sani said that his administration has acknowledged some of the mistakes made by previous administrations and is prepared to rectify them in order to advance the state.
Speaking through Rev. Dr. Ishaya Adamu Jangado, the Chairman of the Kaduna Baptist Convention and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Religious Affairs, Christian Matters, Governor Uba Sani said, “I appeal to the Christian community to support and rally around the current administration at all levels in other to achieve the needed development.”
Governor Uba Sani promised to keep governing the state in an inclusive manner that would be equitable and fair to everyone for the general growth of the state and peaceful coexistence.
Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Nuhu Kure, the chairman of the Southern Kaduna Christian Leaders Association, had earlier stated that the purpose of the end-of-year meeting was to provide members with a mid-term report, evaluate the recently held general elections, develop plans for upcoming events, and pray for the nation’s future.
He announced that the Association would be holding seminars in various Southern Kaduna zones to enhance and broaden the knowledge of the local clergy. Additionally, a special treasury will be established and utilized to support financially challenged pastors in Southern Kaduna, regardless of their denomination.

He called on the Christian community to come together, regardless of denominational differences, but to follow the precepts of the Holy Scriptures for the betterment of the region and the state at large.
