Jennifer Echegini, a midfielder with the Super Falcons, is in negotiations with Juventus of Serie A about a January transfer.
Echegini, 22, wants to move to Europe and leave her American team, the Florida State Seminoles.
Due to her schooling, the Nigerian’s summertime plans to join the Italian club never happened.
Echegini will shortly finish her studies at Florida State University, where she is presently majoring in management studies.
Juventusnews24 reports that the Turin team has resumed negotiations with the player in front of the January transfer.
Echegini competed for Nigeria at the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, which Australia and New Zealand co-hosted.
She has played for the Super Falcons on eight occasions.
