In response to the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party dissolving all state executive committees, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State has responded.
On Wednesday, the APC NWC disbanded its state leadership in Rivers State and named Chief Tony Okocha as the chairman of a Caretaker Committee to oversee the party’s operations in the state.
In response to the state’s leadership transition, the APC in the state has not yet had a chance to review the statement that National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka released, according to recently fired Publicity Secretary Darlington Nwauju.
According to Nwauju, elected officials are not removed from office using television or print ads if the proper procedures are followed.
“We will respond to it in a sufficient and appropriate manner,” he declared.
