According to reports, a federal lawmaker, Sani Yakubu Noma claims to have finalized plans to provide 100 (hundred) female orphans for marriage.
In the House of Representatives, Noma is the representative for Kebbi State’s Argungu/Augie Federal Constituency.
In an interview with media in his home town of Argungu, the State, he explained that the marriage proposal was one of the ways he supported the cause of orphans in his constituency.
He claims that on Saturday, the marriage ceremony would be held in the Palace of the Argungu Emir, Alhaji Sama’ila Muhammad Mera.
“A committee has been established to ensure the event is carried out successfully. The two local government districts that I represent in the National Assembly produced the individuals who were chosen to be married out.
“I have already purchased mattresses, beds, necessary furniture, and other marriage-related items for the recipients,” he declared.
