The 24-year-old was anticipated to be ready for the Partenopei’s Serie A match at the Gewiss Stadium against Gian Piero Gasperini’s team.
Tutto Napoli reports that the striker is anticipated to miss the match.
The Nigerian international, however, should be ready for Real Madrid’s UEFA Champions League match against Serie A champions Santiago Bernabeu midweek.
In ten appearances for Napoli this season across all competitions, the attacker has six goals to his name.
