President Bola Tinubu is not his opponent, but rather his son, according to Pa Ayo Adebanjo, the chairman of the Yoruba sociocultural group Afenifere.
Adebanjo did point out that he doesn’t share Tinubu’s political views.
The Afenifere leader stated that Tinubu was a kind young guy who had never refused to do him a favor when he spoke at a function in Lagos on Tuesday.
Adebanjo made the observation that their views on national issues diverge.
“Everyone should be concerned about the unity and progress of this country,” he declared. Tell me nothing about any economic initiatives.
“You will not progress unless this constitution is altered. And I implore everyone who is a patriot and loves our country in the present day, especially Bola Tinubu.
Having Professor Bolaji Akinyemi here makes me happy. You are the buddy of Tinubu. I’m not against him. He’s my boy. Our political differences are the only thing separating us.
He’s a young man full of love. Never once have I asked for a favor that he hasn’t already done for me. However, the matter at hand is Nigeria’s unity.
