The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, has not passed away, according to rumors refuted by Defence Headquarters.
According to reports, The Defence Chief’s death was originally announced by an online publication.
However, the stories were deemed regrettable, immoral, and untrue in a statement signed by Brigadier General Tukur Gusau, Director, Defence Information.
The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, allegedly passed away yesterday, according to a regrettable article that was published online and brought to the knowledge of Defence Headquarters. Unfortunately, the report lacks credibility and is unethical.
“To correct the records, General CG Musa is very much alive and well, according to the CDS. After returning from an official mission abroad, the Chief of Defence Staff has returned to work with greater vigor, determined to further advance the Nigerian Armed Forces with his unique leadership style.
The statement read, “Since then, the online newspaper has withdrawn the news article and unconditionally apologized to the CDS, his family, and the Armed Forces of Nigeria.”
