Folarin Falana, better known by his stage name Falz The Bahdguy, is a Nigerian rapper and musician who recounts a near-death encounter with his Bhad Guys band 10 years ago.
According to him, the event occurred in 2013 between Abuja and Lokoja following their initial N1 million performance in Abuja and their departure for another performance in Benin.
The former lawyer turned rapper said that five shooters assaulted their car, killing the driver instantaneously and sending the car on a wild ride until it crashed into a woodland.
He claimed they spotted a thug and he wanted money from them when they were awake again.
He said that after making many threats and informing the thug that they were broke, he and the shooters who were firing at the road fled when they heard the sirens of the police.
The versatile artist claimed that after many private vehicles declined to assist them in getting to the hospital, the cops finally arrived to save them.
Falz said in an interview with the Untapped Podcast that he and the other members of his band still bear physical scars from the incident.
