The 2023 Globe Soccer Awards are accepting nominations for the Emerging Player of the Year, which includes Bayer Leverkusen attacker Victor Boniface.
There are twenty-five more players that are vying for the prize.
The players nominated for the prize are Moisés Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez, Cesare Casadei, Rasmus Højlund, Eduardo Camavinga, Arda Güler, Jude Bellingham, Alejandro Balde, Pedri, Lamine Yamal, and Gavi.
Jeremy Doku, Xavi Simons, Evan Ferguson, Joško Gvardiol, Jamal Musiala, and Jeremy Doku are also candidates for the individual award.
This season, Boniface has been a huge asset for Bayer Leverkusen.
In 16 games across all competitions this season for Leverkusen, he has 11 goals and 6 assists.
The 22-year-old won the Rookie of the Month award three times in a row after being named the Bundesliga Player of the Month for August.
The previous season’s winner was his countryman Victor Osimhen.
