Christian Obi, the head coach of Heartland, is not pleased with his team’s 1-1 draw with Sporting Lagos.
In the last moments of the match, the Naze Millionaires gave up the lead.
Obi described the scenario as regrettable because Heartland hasn’t won yet this year.
Nonetheless, he was pleased with his team’s overall performance.
He told the Daily Post in Lagos, “I feel bad, but God knows why it happened this way with the late-minute goal; it’s unfortunate.”
“My players are not satisfied with our performance, but the boys worked hard and demonstrated commitment to win the game.”
“It is what it is; their overall performance in the game impressed me.”
Heartland, with six points, is still at the bottom of the table.
