Residents of Kaduna have been advised by the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) to carry out their regular activities as the academy conducts its annual range classification and introductory shooting exercises for Cadets of 73 Regular Course.
The appeal was made in a statement on Friday by Maj. Mohammed Maidawa, the public relations officer for the NDA.
“The Nigerian Army (NA) personnel of the NDA will be participating in their Annual Range Classification, and cadets of the 73 Regular Course will be participating in an introductory shooting exercise,” the statement said. “The NDA wishes to inform the public, especially inhabitants of Mando, Tsamiya, Kauya, and Afaka general area.”
He said that the drills are scheduled for November 20–30 at the NDA Open Range in Afaka.
Maidawa assured the populace that every safety measure had been implemented to guarantee the security of the residents.
