According to President Bola Tinubu, he inherited significant assets and obligations from his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari.
This was revealed by Tinubu during his meeting with Mansur Muhtar, the Vice-President (Country Programs) of the Islamic Development Bank, in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It was also included in a statement released on Tuesday by his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale.
“We inherited serious liabilities from our predecessors, but we also inherited assets,” he stated. We offer no justifications.
