The Kogi State election process would be assisted by two National Commissioners, nine resident Electoral Commissioners, Administrative Secretaries, and other staff members from several states.
At the final news conference before the Kogi State governorship election on Friday, Prof. Mahmud Yakubu, the National Chairman of the Independent Electoral Commission, revealed this.
According to Prof. Yakubu, all election-related documents, both sensitive and non-sensitive, have been supplied.
He said that the Bimodal voter accreditation technology is ready to be installed at voting places.
As to his statement, this is the exclusive method for voter verification and voter fingerprint/facial biometric authentication.
The INEC Chairman characterized the election as a multi-stakeholder duty, stressing that polling unit results will be published to the INEC result viewing IReV portal.
In order to guarantee the peaceful conduct of the Kogi State Governorship Election, he called on all interested parties to provide their assistance.
