Mauricio Pochettino, manager of Chelsea, has acknowledged that he still feels a strong emotional connection to Tottenham.
The Argentine left PSG this summer and was named Chelsea’s manager.
Throughout his five years at Spurs, Pochettino developed a close emotional bond with the team’s supporters.
However, the 51-year-old acknowledged that “we cannot guess” what kind of reception the home crowd would give him on Monday night after he joins their fierce rivals in London.
Pochettino responded as follows when asked if he may return: “”Who can say? Who can say? It’s a team similar to Newell’s Old Boys, Southampton, or Espanyol.
Like life, you never know what will occur the next day. I’m hoping I can live here until the day I die! 20 or 25 years, but with football, you never know. If I’m not working, it’s a club; perhaps they’ll want me in the future. Not at all?
