The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) announced on Friday that there will be traffic restrictions on Saturday along the Nyanya-Keffi road in preparation for its annual 10-kilometer walk/jog exercise in 2023, which will take place at all of its bases across the country.
Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, the NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, made a statement that included this information.
He stated that the workout will begin at 6:00 a.m. and that it was a component of attempts to improve the physical fitness of NAF troops.Partial traffic restrictions are announced by NAF along Nyanya-Keffi Road.
According to him, the drill in Abuja is scheduled to begin at the Defence Headquarters Roundabout and end at the NAF Base’s Asokoro Football Field.
The statement also stated that the exercise would go to Army Checkpoint Kugbo at Keffi Road/Kugbo Furniture and Pedestrian Bridge and return to the base through the NAF Valley Second Gate.
The statement states that there will be a partial traffic restriction along the previously listed routes during that time.
It stated that important highways surrounding NAF Bases and their surroundings are anticipated to be covered by the drill in different sites across the country.
The statement told the public to carry on with their regular routines and not to worry, especially for drivers and residents living near AYA, Asokoro, and areas surrounding NAF Bases across the country.
