She expressed a desire to “change the world.”
“I’ve been taking a break from social media because my heart breaks to see all of the horror, hate, violence, and terror that’s going on in the world,” she posted on her Instagram story. Torture and murder, as well as any act of hatred directed at a specific population, are horrifying. We must safeguard all individuals, especially children, and put an end to the violence for good. I apologize if my words will never be sufficient for everyone or a hashtag. I just cannot stand by and watch innocent people suffer. That’s what bothers me. I wish I had the power to alter the world.
