Tunji-Ojo stated that a nation that cannot control its borders and security personnel will constantly be under strain during his keynote talk at a breakfast meeting organized by Business Day in Abuja.
“I have no justification at all not to secure the country’s borders,” he said, reiterating his resolve to doing so. Bola Tinubu, the president, will address issues.

He continued by saying that the Ministry of Interior’s duties go beyond the issuance of passports and that he did not want to be known as the Minister who fixed passport issues because there were “bigger problems to solve.”
