Due to the “current safety and security situation” in Israel, no UEFA-sponsored matches will be held there “until further notice,” according to a statement released on Thursday by the organization that governs European football.
The UEFA executive committee determined that no UEFA competitive matches will be played in Israel until further notice after carefully assessing the present safety and security situation throughout the entire region of Israel.
