Former Goodluck Jonathan media assistant Reno Omokri has pleaded with the Labour Party’s nominee for president in the 2023 elections, Peter Obi, to cover the actor John Okafor, better known by his stage name Mr. Ibu,’s medical expenses.
He said that during the elections, the comedic actor supported and actively campaigned for Obi.
While pleading with fans to aid the ill actor, Omokri stated that Obi must assist Mr. Ibu “in his time of need.”
He expressed astonishment that the former governor of Anambra State did not join the actor in celebrating his 66th birthday on Tuesday.
Omokri expressed his sympathy for John Ikechukwu Okafor, also known as Mr. Ibu, over his illness on his X handle and urged everyone #RenosNuggeteers to donate to the account number he provided. Please don’t disregard his pleas for assistance. I also encourage the general people to give.
But he is a man who openly supported Peter Obi. He performed a dance with his daughter for Peter Obi, which went viral online. They went out and started promoting Obi. The same Peter Obi who bragged that he was wealthier than US Vice President Joe Biden, who was valued at $8.2 million at the time of Peter’s statement.
“Considering all John Okafor done for him, maybe Mr. Peter Obi may help him out by covering Mr. Ibu’s medical expenses. Even Peter Obi’s failure to post on Mr. Ibu on his birthday yesterday surprises me. Even yet, Peter Obi ought to assist him when he is in need.
