The Rovers FC team in the Nigeria National League has received new management, according to the Cross River State Government.
Exam Ejenosowor continued to serve as the club’s chairman.
The appointment was officially announced in a letter on Wednesday from the office of the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development.
The team roster includes Gabriel Ogar, Michael Samuel, Prince Ekanem, and George Obiotu.
Former international Etta Egbe will be the club’s technical advisor, and Samson Unuanel, a former Super Falcons coach, will be the head coach.
The appointees have been given the task of restructuring the team so that it can reclaim its proper status in Nigeria’s top-flight football competition.
The 2023–24 NNL season, which begins next week, will feature Rovers.
