Jordan Torunarigha, a defender for KAA Gent of Belgium, has expressed his happiness after making his Super Eagles debut.
In their 3-2 friendly victory over the Mozambique Mambas on Monday, Torunarigha made his team debut for Jose Peseiro.
After starting the game at age 26, Calvin Bassey took his place 15 minutes later.
To commemorate the debut, the center back posted on his Instagram account.
“I’m really delighted and proud about making my Super Eagles debut. Just getting started!” He published.
The athlete was a youth Germany footballer who then switched to Nigeria
