Cyriel Dessers will be given a fair chance, according to newly appointed Rangers manager Philippe Clement.
This summer, Dessers transferred from the Italian team Cremonese to the Light Blues.
But the 28-year-old has had trouble having much of an impression.
In the Scottish Premiership, the Nigerian has scored just one goal for Rangers.
Under former manager Michael Beale, the striker was demoted from the starting lineup.
However, Clement has declared that everyone will now begin at the same level.
“I have observed Cyriel do better in Holland than in Belgium, as well. According to Clement, who was quoted by Daily Record, “He was better in Feyenoord than here.
No justification exists for him to garner greater attention simply because he is a Belgian; all players are starting at the same level.
“Everyone starts the same, whether they are Belgian, Scottish, British, 32, or 18. Then we’ll assess who is physically the fittest. We require a sizable team that is fully prepared.
