Khaid, a popular vocalist also known as Sulaimon Shekoni Solomon, has shared his reasons for switching from Islam to Christianity.
The 19-year-old claimed he was raised in a mosque and was born to a Muslim father and a Christian mother.
He emphasized that his father had pushed him to become a Christian when he was younger and claimed that he subsequently became one because he disliked attending to the mosque.
In a recent episode of the podcast Zero Conditions, Khaid made a statement.
He declared, “I used to be a Muslim because my mother and father were both Christians. I simply felt a stronger connection to Christianity as a result.
“I honestly didn’t like going to the mosque from a young age. Dad compelled me. My folks, though, had an open mind.
They stated that my brothers and I may practice any religion we wanted. My father used to make me go to the mosque since we live near Muslims and he doesn’t want it to appear that he doesn’t have control over his children.
“At the time, I was going to the mosque because I wanted to make him happy. But eventually I changed and began attending church.
My younger brother and older sister are Muslims. However, I and the other four are Christians.
