Jada Pinkett Smith, an American actress, has declared that late artist Tupac Shakur was her soulmate.
This was disclosed in an interview with media personality Christal Jordan by the 52-year-old talk show host.
The mother of two stressed that there was no romantic “chemistry” between them and described the rapper as someone with whom she had a “soulmate friendship.”
To quote Pinkett, “Tupac was my soulmate… If there are past lives, Pac and I have undoubtedly been on some of them together.
“It was simply impossible for us to progress beyond a friendship. No chemistry existed between us. I assure you that what we had was friendship and love chemistry.
“I wish I could explain the repulsive nature to individuals. It almost seemed as if God had intended for us to work well together. You won’t be able to get together, I say. Because it was not the intended result.
Remember that Pinkett just revealed that she and her husband, Will Smith, had been estranged since 2016 in a clip from her upcoming NBC News primetime special with Hoda Kotb.
