Cristiano Ronaldo, a former forward for Manchester United, has apparently received an offer from Saudi Arabia to return to the Premier League and European soccer.
According to a report from El Nacional, the Al-Nassr captain has reportedly been told that he can join Premier League team Newcastle United in 2024.
Ronaldo’s contract was canceled, and he left Manchester United in November 2022.
After the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, he joined the Saudi giants Al-Nassr in January 2023.
Since joining Al-Nassr, the former Juventus and Real Madrid star has excelled, scoring 24 goals in 24 Saudi Pro League games.
His SPL performances have drawn the attention of the club’s owners, who have purportedly offered him a way to return to Europe.
The proprietors of Al-Nassr have offered the 38-year-old a transfer to Newcastle United, a team.
Nevertheless, it is rumored that Ronaldo has not been overly amenable to the notion thus far but will probably give it some thought in the upcoming weeks before to the January transfer window.
