President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s attendance at the 78th United Nations General Assembly, or UNGA, has received attention from the Ministry of Information and National Orientation.
According to reports, Tinubu left Nigeria on Sunday for New York in order to attend the 78th UN General Assembly.
It was a great excursion for the president of Nigeria, according to Mohammed Idris, minister of information and national orientation.
The President is rumored to have started initiatives to open up the Nigerian economy when he was attending the UNGA.
The President has been to India and the United Arab Emirates for this reason.
According to the minister, Tinubu arrived to the event with a powerful message from Nigeria to let the world know that Nigeria is available for business in that area.
He met with the UN Secretary General and Amina Muhammad, our own Amina Muhammad, the UN’s Deputy Secretary General, he said. The minister informed the press on Thursday that he had intense conversations with foreign leaders as well.
The President of ExxonMobil Upstream has promised 40,000 more barrels of oil per day as a fresh push for Nigeria’s continued investment in the nation. “He had a commitment, especially from ExxonMobil.
He has met with business executives, members of the ICT tech community, representatives from the oil sector, and many other individuals. He has also engaged with African and other international leaders.
Investors are already committing to visit Nigeria and make significant financial investments for the growth of both our nation and the rest of the globe.
His constant argument is that, first and foremost, neither Nigeria nor Africa deserve to be pitied.
Nigeria and the rest of the world should have a relationship that is respectful of one another and on an even playing field.
The days of viewing Nigeria and Africa as a continent where people should be pitied are long gone. We’ve stated to level the playing field. Let’s face off. Nigerians and others from the rest of Africa can contribute to the global development of the world since we have the necessary capabilities.
And the message is that Nigeria is prepared to join because we have leveled the playing field, opened it up, and are there for you. Don’t feel sorry for us.
It looks that the world is welcome Nigeria back to its fold, and international leaders are prepared to unite with Nigeria to guarantee that Nigeria likewise assumes its proper place.
So much is happening and Nigeria is being expected to lead the way, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing just that.
“Nigeria is becoming a very important nation once again, is taking its rightful place, and is not just for Nigeria, but for the rest of Africa, open up the space we are there, we participate and compete and Nigeria and Africa will be the best for it.”
