In response to statements attributed to Reno, a Labour Party chieftain, Mr. Morris Monye, criticised Reno Omokri, a former advisor to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, calling him irrelevant to Nigerian politics.
According to reports, Reno jokingly declared that Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the general election on February 25, will never become president in his lifetime.
Omokri stated that he will do whatever it takes, including spending all of his money, to prevent Obi from becoming the next president of Nigeria.
Quickly reacting, Mr. Morris Monye, a prominent member of the Labour Party and Special Adviser to Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Labour Party’s candidate for governor in the 2023 election, took a shot at Reno Omokri on verified X (previously Twiiter), saying “Reno Omokri is irrelevant in the scheme of things to talk about Peter Obi.”
Reno Omokri has succumbed to Satan, playing the part of a butterfly that thinks it’s a bird, according to Morris Monye.
“The distant echoes of the elections in 2027 or 2031 hold little appeal to me, for if the Divine whispers Peter Obi’s president in Nigeria, Reno’s importance becomes irrelevant (Has always been irrelevant).
His main basis for recognition is his prior role as SA to GEJ, and tragically, he has shown no evidence of progress or personal growth since that time.
He has always been made fun of.
According to reports, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC won the 2023 presidential election, while the Labour Party and Peter Obi challenged the decision of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
