The arrest of a woman who whipped and handcuffed kids for playing football inside her compound has been verified by the Ogun State Police Command.
The anger sparked by the viral footage of her abusing three children came next.
The woman can be seen first whipping the boys while threatening to have them arrested in the video posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Friday.
She commanded the youngster being beaten to stop because he had just recently recovered from an illness: “Do you want me to have you arrested, lay down and take your hand off.” The boy pleaded with her to stop.
The three lads were then made to sit in a puddle before being shackled and dragged away.
According to the X user who uploaded the video, the incident happened in Sango Ota, Ogun State.

“Their only transgression was playing football inside of her property, and they made every effort to get it back.
“She handcuffed them after beating them and throwing them in the puddle.
The tweet stated, “Location: Salvation Estate Co. Oil Sango-ota.”
Since then, internet users have started to express their anger with the incident, with many requesting the woman’s imprisonment.
Tweeted Certified Kim, “Just football??? I do not think that. How can she treat kids in this manner simply because they play football? I am currently boiling.
Additionally, Tubosunn tweeted, “Does this woman need to serve time for this? She must be infertile if she treats children in such a way because she will never understand their love.
Just hoping she gets dealt with; also, we are the parents of these kids.
They must file criminal charges for these heinous crimes.

When reached, Omolola Odutola, the state police command’s police public relations officer, confirmed the event and said the woman was facing legal action.
She replied abruptly in an SMS, “The case is now in court.”
