Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State’s chief press officer, Mr. Richard Olatunde, has repeated that his boss is still recovering in Germany and has not yet returned.
This information was included in a statement he released on Thursday night. The CPS statement clarified the rumours that the sick governor will leave the state and return the following week.
The notification said that the governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, had not yet arrived home. The governor is still in Germany on a medical vacation at this time.
“The governor’s homecoming would be well advertised, we want to assure the good people of Ondo State and Nigerians in general.
“Although we recognise that his return is coming, we advise our folks to ignore any misleading information and any preemptive mischief planned by uneasy politicians.
To be clear, Governor Akeredolu has not yet arrived in the nation.
Governor Akeredolu delegated authority to his deputy, Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, in an acting capacity after he underwent medical treatment in Germany due to bad health.
