In Delta State, the Ikoro Agbor of Agbor Kingdom has praised President Bola Tinubu for selecting one of their distinguished sons, Chiedu Ebie Esq, as the board chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), saying that the appointment is a clear example of a square peg in a square hole.
“We are confident that Chiedu Ebie will serve beyond expectations and the people of the Niger Delta region will have course to be happy again as their neglect will be a thing of the past,” the organisation stated in a statement signed by its coordinator, Mr. Ebede Rexben.
“We are pleading with the people of the Niger Delta to lend him the assistance he needs to succeed for the sake of everyone.
“There is no question that the chairman has prior understanding of the difficulties in the Niger Delta region, which facilitates the board’s success.
“Considering the names chosen for the newly reconstituted board, we are confident in the board’s ability to deliver developmental projects in the region.”
