Uriel Oputa, an evicted Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, claims she decided against using her mother’s dementia as a reality TV strategy because it would have been “too predictable.”
She said that she had taken care of her mother for the past ten years.
She said this lately when appearing on Rubbin’ Minds on Channels TV.
When I first indicated that I had experienced a lot, I was actually referring to [my] mother, Uriel remarked. I was a caretaker for 10 years of my life. So, this is really a small cherry on top.
I took the choice to keep my mum out of the spotlight before entering the Big Brother house because I believed it would be too predictable. Why is she exploiting her mother to win pity votes, others will ask. And I feel like I have so many abilities, whether they be in cooking or anything else. I learned in the House that I can project myself well on stage, whether it be for theatre or other performances.
Therefore, Uriel is so much more than just her mother. And I wanted to demonstrate my cooking skills. I also enjoy working out. I’m a singer. I’m multifaceted. And I chose not to include my mother in the discussion since my followers are already familiar with that aspect of me. They have been aware of it for six years. Let me share some information about myself with you as this is a new beginning.
