The election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will not be challenged, according to Kenneth Eze, chairman of the Senate Committee on Information.
Eze encouraged the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership, members, and Nigerians in general to allay concerns that President Bola Tinubu’s election would be reversed, as the opposition had said.
At his country house in Onueke, Ezza South LGA of Ebonyi State, he addressed Ebonyi Central APC officials and other party leaders who had paid him a courtesy call to celebrate the Ezza Ezekuna Ukaku New Yam celebration.
There is a lot of distraction, he claims. The adversaries are making every effort to divert our attention, but we won’t let them. APC joined the team at a time when conditions were dire.
“People believe that the removal of fuel subsidies will cause the economy to crash, but to their surprise, the country’s economy is growing, and God willing, in two weeks the Port-Harcourt refinery will be operational, reducing the impact of the subsidy removal.”
I can guarantee you that the APC is performing well, and nobody will challenge the legitimacy of the current administration’s election, he said. Some have bragged that Atiku or Obi would seize power, but I encourage you to be courageous and not to be scared for God is with us.
