In the second qualifying round of the CAF Confederation Cup, Burkina Faso’s Etoile Filante will take on Rivers United.
Following a 0-0 tie on Sunday at the AU Stade De La Paix De Bouake against Casa Sports Ziguinchor of Senegal, Etoile Filante secured a place in the next round of the competition.
After playing to a 1-1 tie in Senegal during the first leg, the Burkinabe club was granted qualification based on the away goals rule.
Two legs of the match will be played in September.
On Saturday, September 15, Etoile Filante will host the opening leg, with Port Harcourt hosting the rematch two weeks later.
In the second qualifying round, Bendel Insurance of Nigeria will face the Moroccan champions RS Berkane, who will represent Morocco in 2022.
