But his first season with the Blues was a complete catastrophe.
For Chelsea under Mauricio Pochettino, Cucurella has not made a competitive game-start.
Due to the injury to Manchester United’s first-choice full-back, Luke Shaw, Erik ten Hag is eager to rapidly sign a replacement.
He is reportedly close to finalising a loan deal to Old Trafford, according to Marca.
Shaw will be out for two months, therefore United offered Cucurella an unofficial offer on Saturday.
Marca claims that he is almost done switching his loan to Old Trafford.
