In the case involving activist Adegbola Abdulazeez, also known as Tani Olohun, Chief Ifayemi Elebuibon, a well-known Ifa priest, has pleaded with Kwara Muslims and Isese followers to maintain calm.
Abdulazeez was detained on August 16 in Ibadan and then moved to the Kwara State Police Command after it was claimed that he had insulted the Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Emir of Ilorin, as well as other well-known Muslim clerics.
Speaking on the subject, Elebuibon urged with Muslims and Isese supporters to let peace prevail since obtaining Abdulazeez’s freedom was of utmost importance.
“I want to also use this medium to beg the Isese youths to let peace reign regarding this case,” he continued.
We should all try to ensure his freedom because it is crucial at this time.
“Since we are all Yoruba, I would also like to implore the Muslims in Ilorin to allow peace to rule.
Let things go; peace is what we found when we arrived on earth; let peace rule.
“In the name of Olodumare (God), I implore you to maintain calm and allow peace to rule.”
