Godwin Obaseki, the governor of Edo State, will ordain four new commissioners on Friday after their selection was approved by the state House of Assembly.
Osarodion Ogie, the secretary to the state government, announced in a statement that the event will start at 1 pm in the New Festival Hall at the Government House in Benin City, the capital of Edo State.
Asi Surajo Jubril, Zubairu Dada Abubakar, Osilama Okuofo, and Ogbeide Ifaluyi-Isibor are the commissioners who will be sworn in.
“It is hereby announced for the information of the general public that His Excellency, Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki, will administer the oath of office to the four commissioner-nominees on Friday, August 25, 2023,” Ogie said.
